Leah Reiter
Leah Reiter, originally from Kansas City, Missouri, began her training under Rachel Vickery and Robin Welch in Omaha, Nebraska at the Heartland Youth Ballet from 2010-2013. She then trained under the direction of Racheal Nye at Kansas City Ballet School from 2013-2017. Later she joined De Nationale Ballet Academie in Amsterdam and trained with Nathalie Caris, Ernst Meisner, and Grigory Tchitcherine from 2017-2021.
She joined Oklahoma City Ballet as a member of OKCB II in 2021, and was promoted to apprentice for the 2023 season. Her repertoire includes works by Wayne McGregor, Alexander Ekman, Cayetano Soto, George Balanchine, Septime Webre, Gerald Arpino, Stephen Mills, and Ryan Jolicoeur Nye. Favorite roles include Échappé Girl in Gerald Arpino’s Birthday Variations, Odette in Swan Lake staged by Racheal Nye after Marius Petipa, and Nymphs in Ryan Jolicoeur-Nye’s The Sleeping Beauty.
