Kaileah Long

Kaileah Long trained at Colorado Conservatory of Dance (formerly known as Ballet Nouveau Colorado) in Broomfield, Colorado under the direction of Julia Wilkinson Manley. During her senior year of high school, she moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to train with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. After graduating, Long continued her training with Ballet Arizona and BalletMet where her repertoire included Carlos Valcárcel’s Swan Lake, Edwaard Liang’s Giselle, Garard Charles’ The Nutcracker, and George Balanchine’s Concerto Barocco and Serenade

Kaileah attended the Oklahoma City Ballet Summer Intensive in 2018 and was invited to join the Studio Company for the 2018/19 season. During her two seasons in the Studio Company, she was cast to perform alongside the company in productions such as Robert Mills’ The Nutcracker and Romeo and Juliet, Septime Webre’s ALICE (in Wonderland), August Bournonville’s La Sylphide, and Michael Pink’s Dracula. Kaileah was also featured in the Studio Company’s productions performing as Gretel in Walker Martin’s Hansel and Gretel, and The Firebird in Robert Mills’ Firebird. In 2020, Kaileah was promoted to Apprentice where her repertoire expanded to include Robert Mills’ The Little Mermaid, Firebird, Miki Kawamura’s Simplicity, Mayim Stiller’s A Dash of Life, and Ryan Nye’s The Sleeping Beauty. In August of 2023, Kaileah performed in the inaugural Dansereye gala in Warren, CT and is thrilled to be returning in 2024. Kaileah most recently has performed as a guest artist with First State Ballet Theatre during their production of Coppélia. 

Kaileah also teaches ballet and spent the 22/23 season serving as the ballet director for Dance Phase in Edmond, OK. In addition to ballet, Kaileah is also a certified yoga instructor. In her spare time Kaileah enjoys reading, hiking and watching Disney movies with her dog, Ellie.
